Craft events are they worth it.

As much we enjoy going to seethe craft shows and attention these Craft Shows get from time to time. We have had to make a decision as the last few we have attended really have not turned out profitable for either one of us. When you count for the getting your items together, packing the car, unloading, unpacking to setup and then doing it all again when the show was over. It seemed to be a nightmare.

This is where the fun begins as we sit there and wait and have fun and hope to have alot of people come through. At times you are placed in a bad spot that is cold, hot or either get passed up or hardly an traffic comes your way. Or the other reason is that date that was picked some other big event is going on else where.

Finally after being there for about 6-8 hours and really didn't make the money back you spent for the booth, gas your time. Your really disappointed and now you have to pack up everything and unload and make that trip back home.

By this time you really have to think is it all worth it and some that have great success would say yes while others say NO. Those vendors that had hardly any business never return to those craft shows. While those that made lots of money and sat in a great location will be back next time. It is not that they didn't have something to sell or their price was too high or too low. Just not enough traffic to came into those events or bad location or maybe not enough advertisement was done.

So after we have done a few and we have had this issue at each event it is about time we changed our events. So after this year is over we will no longer be doing any Craft fairs for some time. We have found a huge vendor mall close to home call Bargins Within & Auction House 44 in Mount Washington KY off of HWY 44.   So we have taken a locked case all to ourselves and we are slowing moving some items into that large display case. Once the last 3 shows we have finished off this year we will have even more items for people to see and buy 6 days a week and we spilt the cost so we each pay $30 per month. So we will be much better off now.

        

So you can now found us there. We will be adding more once the Avon items are gone and always updating the case to make it look more interesting. Our Case is right behind the cash registers for everyone to see.
